Does getting a dental implant hurt?
Placement is done under local anesthetic, with nitrous oxide or oral sedation available if you'd like deeper ease. Most patients tell us the procedure felt far less eventful than they feared, and post-operative soreness is typically managed with over-the-counter medication.
How long does the implant process take?
Placement itself is usually a single visit. The implant then integrates with your bone over a few months before the final crown is attached — the exact timeline depends on your bone and the site, and we'll map yours out honestly at your consultation.
Am I a candidate for implants?
Most healthy adults with adequate bone are. The cone beam scan gives us a definitive answer rather than a guess — and if an implant isn't the right path for you, we'll say so and walk you through the alternatives, including bridges.
What do dental implants cost?
It depends on the site, whether bone grafting is needed, and how the tooth is restored — so we quote after imaging, not before. The consultation is complimentary, financing is available, and you'll have the full fee in writing before anything begins.
