Small chips are usually bonded with tooth-colored composite in a single visit. Larger breaks on a front tooth may call for a minimal-prep veneer; a tooth weakened by a crack is protected with a crown. We recommend the least invasive option that will truly last.

Call and come in
Save any large fragment in milk or saliva if you can — occasionally it can be bonded back. Rinse gently, avoid chewing on that side, and we'll hold a time for you.

A digital x-ray and close-up photos tell us whether the chip is only in the enamel or whether the nerve or root is involved — that decides the right repair.
Repair, matched to you
Bonding is sculpted and polished the same day. Veneers and crowns are designed digitally and made right here in the studio — crowns usually the same day.

Is a chipped tooth an emergency?
It's urgent, even when it doesn't hurt. A chip can expose the softer inner layer of the tooth, invite decay, and spread into a larger crack. If there's pain, bleeding, or a large piece missing, call us the same day. For a tiny cosmetic chip, book within the next few days — and avoid biting hard foods with that tooth in the meantime.
Can a chipped tooth be fixed in one visit?
Often, yes. Small to moderate chips are usually repaired with bonding — tooth-colored composite sculpted directly onto the tooth and polished — in a single appointment. Larger breaks that need a veneer or crown may take a second visit, though in-house design and fabrication keeps that timeline short.
Bonding, veneer, or crown — how do you decide?
By how much tooth is missing and how much is left to support the repair. Bonding suits small chips and edges. A veneer is best when a front tooth has lost a larger portion of its face or you'd like to refine its shape at the same time. A crown protects a tooth that's cracked or has lost a significant amount of structure. We'll show you the options on your own photos and recommend the most conservative one that will last.
Will the repair match my other teeth?
That's the whole point. Composite and ceramic come in a wide range of shades and translucencies, and we layer and match them to your neighboring teeth under studio lighting. If you've been considering whitening, mention it first — we'll match the repair to your brighter shade.
What does it cost to fix a chipped tooth?
It depends on the repair — bonding is the most affordable, a crown or veneer more. We'll quote your exact fee after examining the tooth, in writing, before we begin. We're insurance-independent and file out-of-network claims for you if you have benefits; financing is available.
