Botox and dentistry, under one roof

On paper, teeth and Botox look like two different worlds — one clinical, one cosmetic, usually handled in two different buildings on two different days. At AGAVI, there's a more literal reason they live under the same roof: we have both an MD and a DDS on the same team, treating both.

AGAVI has both an MD and a DDS in-house — a physician and a dentist, which means many of the medspa's neurotoxin and injectable treatments are provided directly by our physician-dentist. That's a genuinely uncommon combination, and it's not just a credential on a wall. It means the expertise mapping your bite and smile and the license treating the muscles and lines of your face live under the same team, for a lot of patients even the same set of hands.

AGAVI treats the full range of standard areas you'd expect from any medical medspa — forehead lines, the “11s” between the brows (glabella), and crow's feet around the eyes are the everyday staples, and they're treated here with the same precision as everything else in the studio.

Where the dental background adds something extra is in the lower face. A tense, overdeveloped masseter muscle can be treated with neurotoxin — the same muscle already being evaluated for clenching, grinding, and jaw pain during a dental exam. A “gummy smile,” where too much gum shows when you smile, often responds to a small, precise treatment near the upper lip — planning that depends on understanding exactly how your smile moves. And a lip flip or subtle perioral smoothing works best when it's planned around your actual bite and tooth position, not guessed at from the outside.

The bigger advantage is planning it all as one face, not a patchwork of separate appointments. A smile makeover, an orthodontic plan, and a facial aesthetic goal can quietly work against each other when three different providers never talk to each other. One team, looking at your smile and the face around it together, means fewer surprises and a result that reads as intentional — refined rather than “done.”

The goal is never to erase what makes your face yours. It's to soften tension, restore balance, and let your smile and your features read as one calm, cohesive picture.

If you're already coming in for dental care, ask about it at your next visit. If you're coming in for aesthetics, we'll take a look at the whole picture — smile included.

One team, one face, one plan that actually fits together.
